I had intended to work on the new layout all weekend. Instead I did a few other things that either were too important to ignore or sounded far too fun to pass up. I will have a few hours before and after work … I hope .. to work on these things. I really need to work on my sleeping habits so that I have a good 6-5 hours to work on stuff daily besides work itself. Don’t get me wrong, I like my work and in all honosty I could definitely use the money. It’s just I’ve been over-sleeping so much recently that I get a little less than three hours to do anything besides work.
At work, I’m on the “Quality task force” who’s purpose is to make sure the quality of employees work is as good as it can be. Part of that emplies looking at forms and finding ways to improve them so that things are easier for the employees and being the nice guy I am, I volunteered to take a gander at one of these and create a sort of interactive form via php/mysql to replace the old one.
I ended spending most of my time this weekend working on that, and accomplishing nothing. I also ate, spent time with loved ones, didn’t get a bed, half built the bowflex, worked out a little (at least I did something!), didn’t play video games, took Alex to the reserve place, and … downloaded a couple of songs. As you can see, I’ve got some crazy time management problems and I’m sure that by fixing that I can also fix how much time I have daily to do something besides work.
