No One’s Out Here, and I Wasn’t Followed

Sunday, April 30th, 2006

I’m a bit hung over from the last couple of nights of partying Alex and I have been having over at our place. Physically, this is probably one of the better hang overs I’ve had. Mentally, I feel guilty I drank at all. I meant to, on friday, go find myself a job at a temp-hire agency for the weekends. Most likely I’ll ending up doing that tuesday, friday, or not at all.

The party was fun though. On friday we all gathered up and went to the park to enjoy the sun for a while. We flew a kite, ate food like crazy, and played on the monkey bars. We then went back to the apartment and played some guitar hero and took a quick dip in the hot tub.

On Saturday it was pretty much the same thing except more drinking, alot more for me. I’m pretty certain I said some things I’m going to regret. I’m also somewhat concerned that some people might think less of me for the things I said.

Now, I’m sitting at home relaxing and playing some WoW while picking at the messes I have here and there. Hopefully, that will get taken care of by the end of the night.

So, this current post was written on a sidekick. It is fairly surprising that wordpress in fact works to post. I have come up with a plan to come up with some more money. I am going to work some temp jobs on weekends and I’m probably going to be exhausted but hopefully when it’s all over I will be better off.

For Birth

Thursday, April 20th, 2006

My birthday pretty much came and went as I expected it would. Things were at least, better than I had hoped but there were still some issues that I’m going to have to deal with. I’m so very glad I have the friends that I do. I realise that more and more all the time and major events like this just help to magnify that. I feel so full compassion right now that I may as well burst, or go to bed.

A quick side note … google’s search today was dedicated to Joan Miro and google revealed some strange similarities between me and hime besides the “Miro” thing.

That’s right. Ramiro is now 23. No one likes him anymore. Those of us that did once like him have had our opinions shifted by popular culture. It is truly sad, but hey! Who can fight against MTV? it is like umpossible or some junk ok?

Hackz0r’d

Monday, April 10th, 2006

So, recently, my website was hacked. I’m not sure who exactly the culprit is, but he / they seem innocent enough, they didn’t change any of my files, just added some new ones. If you guys want to take a look, the url is: http://www.milkrock.net/mexican.htm. I really should have been paying attention as this seems to have happened days ago. Well, my congratulations to them. It really is a cool banner thingy.

My weekend pretty much went as planned except for the massive somewhat-expected catastrophe that happened on saturday. I’d love to give more details but once again I find myself uncertain as to what liberties I should take and which I should not. In a nut shell, fire signs and water signs don’t mix well.

My birthday event has officialy been scheduled for April 15-16. It will consist of lan-ing, console gaming, pizza, mountain dew, anime, and hopefully some hot-tub time. If anyone has some other suggestions or can help with planning give me an email.

Take It On

Sunday, April 2nd, 2006

This weekend has been great so far! We set up a neat little five-man lan which is actually the largest I’ve had in a while and played mrRO. I’m really excited about a bunch of upcoming games, but nothing really that’s out now except for World Of Warcraft. The FFXI expansion sounds more fun the more I read about it, but I’m still worried that I’m just going to purchase it and do nothing except wait for parties for a large period of time. Phantasy Star Universe will be released for the PC May 1st too! I’ve always been a Phantasy Star Online fan, and if PSU is any closer to a true MMORPG game I would be so happy.

Ragnarok Online II is due to release a beta, but it seems like it will be a korean-only closed beta. A public, international, release is due out in quarter 4 of 06, which translated into english means never. Same thing goes for Windows Vista and the Nintendo Revolution.

This all means that I have alot of things to look forward to … some time … and the only thing preventing me from attaining those things is money. Before I can even consider most of those I really need to focus on paying my debts and getting back in school.
