Bar Hopper

Matt at the BarI’m so very in love with the new image upload feature on WordPress. They fixed it so that it actually works! To the right here you will see and image of Matt that I took while at the bar with him last Thursday night. It was a good time. We had a couple of beers and lost at pool against a couple of his friends. I totally plan to do it again some time, including the part about losing. Since WordPress now lets me upload files easily, I’m going to try to get pictures out of my phone more often to share with people. At the very least it should give me more incentive to post more often.

Legality and Unity

Brenda pointed out this really sad video on you tube promoting gay marriage. I hate that there are so many people who just don’t understand why it’s such a big deal, maybe this will help people visually see what it means to not be able to get married.

Not a time to play God.

I’m really doing much better in this term’s math class than I was in my previous term. It helps so much to watch someone untangle cosines and sines rather than reading it from reading text.

Okami came out yesterday and I only just now picked it up. I probably won’t have a chance to play tonight though unless by some miracle I manage to finish my math homework quickly.

You Should Listen

Brittnee, our everlasting source of entertainment, has recorded a song along with the Dunham girls. It’s a rendition of “Go to sleep little baby” from the “Oh brother where art thou” soundtrack, which I believe was song by Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, and Gillian Welch the first time around (I could be wrong). It’s a wonderfull rendition and I hope you all enjoy it.

I actually am missing work today because I am sick, and have been for a few days. I worked through it yesterday but decided that I wasn’t about to do it again.

Today was my first day of school too, but I actually made it to class. I have a good amount of homework already too and I was hoping to have a couple of easy days first. Once I’m done with homework I’ve been thinking about playing Lego Star Wars, or something.

Just Typing

I’m having a hard time believing here that Google Docs has come so incredibly far. In the next couple of weeks they will be rolling out offline versions of Google Docs that are synced when people are connected to the Internet. If this becomes popular this could eliminate the need for your average student to carry disks or jump drives around, it could mean never losing a document you were working on again, it could mean Microsoft finally has some real competition in the office world.

What’s also hard to believe, is you can now configure google docs to use your blogs API to make posts, effectively making Google everything I have ever dreamed of.
