A Wormy Entry

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

I’ve been watching heroes and the story line is so fantastic. I recently reached the point where they introduce George Tekai as Hiro’s dad and I almost died of happiness.

These next couple of months appear to be an amazing gaming season with releases like World of Goo, Animal Crossing, Mirror’s Edge, and the second installment of precipice of darkness I’m not sure if I’ll have time to eat or think ever again.

Just today Earthworm Jim was released for the Wii Virtual console and I couldn’t resist picking it up. This was one of my all time favorites growing up and is really a good platformer for timing practice with the crazy whip moves you have to do to get places.

This is really just a quick blurb to confirm that I’m still alive and kicking. My new position has me jumping hoops all day but it feels good, actually creating a tangible product so I’m going to continue working hard to show i’ve earned that position.

I’m actually at work now working on a list of changes that need to be done tonight so we can roll out with the final website tommorow. i’m pretty excited because it is a major improvement and it’s a nice though knowing you were involved in making something look nicer.

I should probably take a moment to talk about my recent Scrabble obsession. I’ve been challenging everyone and playing competitively (though I never win) but I’m convinced that eventually I will!

Bat Habits

Halloween creeps ever closer and I’m more excited each day. I Dolled up the apartment a bit with Halloween decorations and carved a pumpkin that actually looked ok. I think I may need to make a new one or two before Halloween actually rolls around though.

Kelly’s birthday party just passed, I met a couple of new people there including Kelly’s friend Jamie and Mr Crichton’s friend Keesha. I feel more attached to Alix each time I see him. I want him to come over and shoot zombies with me some time.
