Fraudulent Weather Patterns

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

mooseI’m so glad that global warming is fake and that this article in the LA Times about moose dying is obviously falsified propaganda. It’d certainly be a sad thing if our fellow antlered friends disappeared off the face of the earth because of some cyclical weather pattern that hasn’t been able to kill them for at least the last 60,000 years of speedy moose evolution but for some reason is killing them now.

I mean, obviously, if the moose was endangered he would not showcase the happy grin he’s wearing in this picture. He’d be making a sad face to show his discontent about his dying species.

Happy new years everyone!

An ordinary Christmas

Saturday, December 27th, 2008

I had a very pleasant Christmas this year and spent time with both my fiance’s family and my own (in reverse order) It has become somewhat standard practice to go to my parent’s home on the eve of Christmas and then her home on the day of. A tradition I’ll be happy to maintain as long as we can.

It’s pouring outside, which is a pleasant change from the hazardous snow fall we’ve been receiving recently. People in this city really just aren’t cut out for driving in the snow. I’m hoping to check out bed bath and beyond later this month to purchase a book case. We really desperately need one as we have towers of stacked (and some unpacked) books, and it’s been nearly a year that we started living here!

Buenas Vacaciones

Saturday, December 20th, 2008

I’m currently on vacation and spending a good deal of my time playing house. I do sort of like to clean and make things look nice, it’s just hard to initially get motivated. I hurt my forearms pretty badly on Monday, so I’ve been doing stretches everyday to try to make them feel better. I think it’s working, but if this pain persists much longer I might go see a doctor.

Christmas Shopping

Friday, December 12th, 2008

elfen_ipodI’m pretty done purchasing gifts for friends and family. I now only need a gift for my fiance’s parents. We’re running low on both time and ideas though. I went out and purchased an outfit for a Christmas semi-formal being held by Brenda’s work at OMSI. I’m a big fan of the place and have purchased a yearly membership the last couple of years because it helps to support their programs and exhibits. I may take tommorow night as an opportunity to donate a bit more.

Kill Seven Sickly Gazelles

Saturday, December 6th, 2008

I’ve been sick for nearly a week now but just yesterday it hit me like a ton of phlegm. I kept on chugging at work too, I hope I didn’t get all of my peers sick. I was going to work today too but my head just hurts too much.

I have a strong craving for something juicy like Tropicana fruit punch but I don’t really think I should go out into the cold by myself. Maybe I can have my fiance pick up something from the corner stone for me.
