Gaga for Lady.

lady-gaga-markus-indrani-hello-kittyLet’s not take this the wrong way. I love Lady Gaga. But I came across this chart about her and pretty much loved it. She really does have that performance related charisma that is hard to find in modern artist. Especially those in that particular genre. In other news. Tegan and Sara’s new album is amazing. I think “Red Belt” will be one of those songs that I keep singing to myself well into my late 50s when my kids are asking me what old crap it is that I’m singing under my breath. “On Directing” is pretty good too.

I’m nearly done with Batman: Arkum Asylum for the second time, this time i’m focusing on making sure I get every single riddler trophy / hint / etc. I’m a sucker for OCD game content, and achievements. I ordered the graphic novel of the same title and I’m pretty excited about reading it, as is my wife.

Speaking of which, I shared photos from the wedding with my parents tonight. It was a good time and they enjoyed themselves but they kept talking about how parts of the photos were out of focus, obviously unaware that the effect was actually desired in the photographers pieces.

batboysLast night my old friend Oreo, my pet rat, passed away. The thought of going even one night with a silent cage seemed daunting, so I picked up a couple of boys to takes care of. Their names are Alfred Pennyworth and Bruce “Batman” Wayne, who we are calling Pennyworth and Bats respectively.

Work has been interesting recently. It seems either a plague has hit or people are taking their illness more seriously than they have in the past since they are not coming to work.

I’m moving all of my website over to MediaTemple, they have a superb control panel and , it seems, a good deal of power to back up websites even on their shared hosting. So far my experience has been great. I feel like pricing could be a little more competitive. But it’s worth it.

hate_ieSo, first and foremost. Let me tell you guys, I hate IE6. To the point where it stresses me out sitting here incapable of combating against it. Even back when it was first created, it wasn’t the friendliest browser, or the greatest at playing with others, but it had some neat features, so it had its place. Now, it is an eight, nearly nine, year old peice of sh*t software and the only reason people still use it at all is because they are either afraid to advance, or are too lazy to. IE8 is a step up at least, or if you want something great you could try chrome, safari, or firefox. The comic I slightly modified here was originally from Penny-Arcade, if you guys are wondering.

In other news: I actually have access to the sandbox developer preview in wave now. It’s pretty interesting. I’ll dabble a little more in it when I have the chance, but for the time being my evenings are pretty tied up.

Can't Catch a Wave.

no_waveI’ve been dying to get on Google Wave ever since I heard of its inception. By now most of you fanatics are probably aware of the ever familiar page reminding you of your lack of privileges, I’ve depicted my own version here. I still hope I get in sooner than later.

Other pretty big news: I’m married now. Wedding occurred in the evening of September 19th, I had lots of good friends, good drinks, good fun. The after party was fairly outrageous too. The event was the success I thought it would be, and I’m pretty happy to be attached now.

The honey moon was pretty fun too. Horse back riding, good food, kayaking, in a small tropical boutique hotel a few hours south of Puerto Valletta called El Careyes.

We don’t have pictures of the main even yet, once I do i’ll put together new content for the wedding site with pictures.
